Antique Porcelain Cobalt & Gold Tea Cup Set x4
Antique Porcelain Cobalt & Gold Tea Cup Set x4
Beautiful antique condition English teacups with matching saucers and a cake plate sold as a set.
This set features a pattern of hand painted cobalt leaves outlined in gold throughout the interior and exterior of the cups as well as on the saucers and plate. Bottoms are marked with an orange-red hand painted '996 x'. These markings and this hand painting is similar to pieces of G.F. Bowers manufactory of Tunstall, Staffordshire, which produced porcelain for a short time in the mid 1800's.
