Beautiful vintage condition transferware teapot, made in England.
Measurements:
8.5" across handle to spout, .5" tall.
No chips, cracks, repairs or stains. Some crazing can be seen on the inside. Please carefully refer to photos.

In 1833, Josiah Spode III's partner William Taylor Copeland bought Spode and partnered with Thomas Garrett, naming the firm Copeland & Garrett until 1847. It then became W.T. Copeland and Sons, using 'Spode' alongside 'Copeland.' The company was sold in 1966 and renamed "Spode" in 1970 for its 200th anniversary in honour of Josiah.
